PressReporter Automatic Heidelberg Press Tracking and Reporting
Prepress UK, the pre-press specialists based in Cheltenham and Brighton, has announced the introduction of PressReporter, a software based solution to maximise productivity by providing a view of what is happening across all of a users Heidelberg presses in real time, without the need to stand in the print room, or keep popping in to see what is happening.
PressReporter continually shows the current press status of each machine: what job is on the press, how long it has been on the press, how many sheets have been run, how many times the press has stopped, why the press has stopped, and how much waste there has been. It also provides an easy to view timeline of press productivity and events, and this is all achieved automatically, without the need for any manual input.

Pipi Print and Packaging Ltd, the Leicester-based packaging specialist, has employed the pre-press knowledge and press know-how of the team at Prepress UK as it has focused on colour quality and consistency from its pair of B2 Heidelberg sheet-fed presses.

Print Plus UK, Bradford, have turned once more to the experts at Prepress UK, the pre-press specialists based in Cheltenham and Brighton, to order its third PressProfiler product, and to add PressSave Colour Server to its pre-press operation.
Having purchased an eight-colour B2-format Heidelberg CD75 press to run alongside its B1 SM102, owner Salman Malik had no hesitation in adding PressProfiler to the configuration. “PressProfiler has given us consistent results from the first time we tried it. We can save as much as 70% on make-readies using PressProfiler. With run lengths continuing to fall, such savings on make-readies are essential. CardWriter 3.6 Released
Prepress UK have today released version 3.6 of their Heidelberg CIP3 card writing application for their affordable ink key presetting solution, PressProfiler.
PressProfiler CardWriter v3.6 adds the ability to archive inking data back from Heidelberg Job Cards that have been adjusted on press and re-saved to the memory card. Now CardWriter makes it incredibly easy to archive adjusted inking data for later reprint, as well as preset ink duct profiles from prepress data.
