All editions of Navigator Workflow support "hot folder" inputs allowing either manual or automated placing of  files into a particular folder on your network for automatic collection by Navigator Workflow and processing through a designated sequence of workflow steps. Also available as standard with Navigator Elite, or an option to any other edition, are powerful scriptable hot folders allowing developers and power users to perform almost unlimited pre-processing of files.

Scriptable hot folders run incoming files through user creatable scripts giving you unlimited power to process any type of file.  For example sort incoming files into different workflows based on the page size, or send particular file types to external processes to convert them into optimised files. Then the workflow can collect the result and move the files on for processing. The possibilities are endless.
